Andhra Village named after Pawan Kalyan

pawan-kalyan-nagarA village in Andhra Pradesh has been named after Janasena president Actor Pawan Kalyan ,for coming in support of farmers of the village against Land Acquisition notification announced (and Taken back) by ruling TDP government.

On the occasion of Pawan Kalyan’s Birthday, Villagers of Bethapudi in Mangalagiri of Guntur district have renamed their village as ‘Pawan Kalyan Nagar’.  Just not this , they even installed late president Abdul Kalam statue in their village.

Villages say, Pawan Kalyan has fought for them against Land Pooling and naming it after him is a small gift to him on his birthday.

Earlier in August, Pawan Kalyan visited Undavalli, Yerrabalem and Bethapudi of mangalagiri mandal to support the farmers of these villages and raised voice against Land Acquisition announced by TDP, which led to roll back of notifications.
