Andhra Bank manager arrested for sending derogatory mails

The Cyber Crime Police, CCS Detective Department, has arrested Andhra Bank Vijayawada Main Branch Chief Manager for sending mails to his superiors which were highly derogatory and defamatory in nature.

CCS Detective Department Assistant Commissioner of Police in a release here this evening said SVS Kishore Kumar, a resident of Dilsukhnagar here, had sent the e-mails which were not founded on facts and had blatantly false allegations against top executives of Andhra Bank.

He sent those mails by creating fake email ids by impersonating others.

On the complaint lodged by P V Ravi Kumar, Chief Manager and PS to Executive Director-I, Andhra Bank, Head Office, a case was registered at Cyber Crime Police Station on March 28 last month.

A Team led by Inspector Majid Ali Khan cracked the case and apprehended the accused by recovering the fake mail ids today.
