After 350 years SC bans fireworks in Delhi

supreme-courtAccording to historians Aurangzeb’s ordered banning fireworks on Diwali 1667 and now after 350 years Supreme Court of India bans fireworks on Diwali (2017)

With this latest development , No firecrackers to be sold during Diwali this year in Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) .

Last year The Apex court had suspended all licences which permit sale of fireworks, wholesale and retail within the territory of NCR. Later this september, it gave order temporarily lifting the ban. And now again Supreme Court upholds order banning sale of firecrackers in Delhi/NCR during Diwali this year.
