Chief Minister of Telangana, K.Chandrasekhar Rao stated that 20k cr loan is required for transforming Hyderabad into an International city .
Speaking to media KCR has ordered the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to go tough with illegal constructions in Hyderabad. He directed the officials not to spare anyone including MPs, MLAs, Leaders , politicians, common people and business people over illegal constructions.
He told the GHMC officials to take stringent action against those blatantly violating the building construction rules by demolishing illegal construction.
He said, over 28 thousand illegal constructions were identified , encouraging Nalas and government lands which include some govt offices also along with some slums and houses.
For each of 26 zones in GHMC limits, 26 Flying teams would be appointed with police support to demolish illegal constructions. These who provide information about illegal construction will be rewarded with Rs.10 thousand .
Transforming Hyderabad into an International city, GHMC required around 20 thousand crores . For that, his government will give surety in taking the loan .
The drainage system will be designed to cater the future needs of the city for next 30 years. It will take at least 5-6 years time for transforming the Hyderabad .
