12 Maoists killed in encounter in Chhattisgarh-Telangana border

At least 12 Maoists including six women are killed in an alleged encounter by Telangana and Chattishgarh police. A Greyhounds constable Susheel Kumar dies in an exchange of fire and bodies were shifted to hospital.

Telangana State Committee of CPI (Maoist) receives a big jolt with Hari Bhushan getting killed. 1AK, 1 INSAS, 5 SLR,2 Single bore rifle, 1 (.303) rifle, 1 pistol , 3 claymore mines,6 rocket bomb recovered.

The encounter took place during a joint combing operation by the Telangana and Chhattisgarh police in the Maoists dominated Thadepalliguta and Pujarikonkedu in Chhattisgarh. The injured police personnel were shifted to Bhadrachalam area hospital by helicopter.
